Effective August 15, 2026. This policy explains the difference between local conversation processing and the limited commerce information required to provide paid access.
Conversation data
ChatExportPro does not intentionally collect, transmit, or store the contents of imported TXT or ZIP exports, extracted media, preview contents, filters, or generated documents. These operations occur locally in the browser.
Commerce and support data
When you purchase, Stripe processes payment information and supplies identifiers, email, optional name, plan, amount, currency, and payment or subscription status. We store the minimum subset required to issue access, reconcile payments, process refunds, and respond to support requests.
Conversation fingerprints
A one-time plan uses a SHA-256 fingerprint generated locally from the selected file. The fingerprint—not the file—is associated with the entitlement. It is used only to confirm that the one-time access applies to the same source file.
Privacy-first usage analytics
We use first-party, cookie-free analytics to understand page visits, anonymous browser-tab sessions, chat import completion, checkout starts, purchases, and export format usage. Campaign parameters and the referring website domain may be recorded so we can measure marketing performance. We do not collect chat text, filenames, imported media, document settings, customer email addresses, or payment credentials through analytics. The anonymous session ends with the browser tab, and Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals are respected.
Google Analytics measurement
We use Google Analytics 4 (G-WH25Y877L9) on public marketing pages and the converter’s page entry to measure page visits using first-party analytics cookies. There is no consent prompt. Analytics cookies expire after 90 days. All advertising consent settings are denied. Google tracking is disabled in purchase, recovery, account, and administrator areas. Converter interactions and document activity are not sent to Google. We send public page paths without query strings or fragments and do not send chat content, filenames, document settings, email addresses, or payment data. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track disable Google measurement. You can also open any public page with ?analytics=off to disable analytics for the current browser tab. Google receives technical connection information when measurement is enabled.
Retention and rights
Purchase records are retained for support, fraud prevention, accounting, tax, and legal obligations. Stripe may retain information under its own policies. Requests concerning ChatExportPro records can be directed to support@chatexportpro.com.
Service providers
Stripe provides checkout, payment processing, receipts, subscriptions, and billing management. Cloudflare and the hosting platform operate application delivery and the purchase-record database. Resend processes the destination email address and recovery-email content when you request a purchase recovery link. Conversation content is never included. We do not sell conversation or customer information.
